Class Information

YOGA

Our Yoga Classes provide an opportunity for growth and awareness. Every yoga class includes breathing, movement, stretching, and relaxation. We keep our classes small so that we can provide individual help and encouragement and we support you in moving at your own pace. At the Casa Bella Wellness Center, yoga is not a competitive sport; it is a process of opening and exploring. You may choose to start in any class at any time. We encourage you to try as many different classes as you can.

Beginning Yoga/Yoga Basics

Beginning Yoga/Yoga Basics is the starting place for most people. In these classes, you learn breathing and relaxation, the basic poses and the Sun Salutation which form the core of hatha yoga practice.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is slower and gentler than Yoga Basics. These classes are intended for people who primarily want stress reduction or who are experiencing illness, injury or chronic pain.

Basic Flow

In these classes, students move from pose to pose in a variety of flowing combinations. For students looking for a class with more movement and posture work than Yoga Basics.

Flowing Yoga

Intended for people who already know the basic poses. In these classes, students move from pose to pose in a variety of flowing combinations. More advanced poses, including inversions, are taught.

Tai Chi

Reduce stress through a powerful slow exercise used to center the body and focus the mind. Strength, flexibility, awareness and focus are examples of just some of the benefits of the study of this ancient Chinese art.


Art.

Pilates

Mat is a series of specific movements designed to strengthen the powerhouse. The powerhouse consists of the muscles of the abdomen, back, and waist. Pilates increases strength, flexibility and endurance while improving posture, alignment, coordination and balance (without building bulk).

Walking, Cycling, Jogging

These classes will be held on the Friendship trail and will be led by a fitness instructor.
